Corporate Donations
Companies both small and large can help the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation continue it's mission to help the Italian Greyhounds in need.
Merchandise
Donation Bins - Want to collect dog food or other essential dog items to benefit rescue, help give a foster dog a holiday present, or provide a meal to a local foster dog? Contact your local rescue representative to see how to partner with the IGRF most effectively.
Surplus Items - In many retail stores, there is little space for extra inventory or samples, products are discontinued, packaging is damaged or for other reasons perfectly good products can't be sold. Consider donating these items to rescue, even if they are not dog related! If we can't use them directly, then we can always raise funds in a raffle or even give knick-knacks away at rescue booths to help interest people in our organization. We have worked with national retailers before to pick up weekly donations of "damaged" or discontinued products to ensure they don't just go to a landfill. Warehouses have donated pallets of food that are nearing expiration to rescue, as well as thousands of packages of treats which were given away at rescue events in the Midwest.
Recycling Programs
Corporate Recycling Programs - We can supply donation bins to help your business collect a wide range of things which can earn money for the Italian Greyhound Rescue. Used printer or toner cartridges, old cell phones or other small electronic devices, and many other items can be recycled with the proceeds benefiting our charity. We even have a program to recycle old shoes which can earn money for the dogs in need! To get started, read about our recycle for funding programs.
Vehicle Donations - Giving an old vehicle in any condition to rescue, can get you a tax write-off too.
Monetary
Giving Programs - A wide variety of corporate giving programs exist which have in the past benefitted the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation's mission. Whether the program allows employees to specify charities of their choosing, or selects specific charities each year to support the IGRF would be more than willing to ensure we quality to be the recipient of corporate giving programs. Please CONTACT OUR TREASURER for assistance in completing any required forms or for other information which is needed for such programs.
Donation Jars/Contributions - Donation jars or containers sitting on a counter help earn small amounts of money, especially when located at pet-related business such as veterinary clinics, pet stores, grooming salons, dog daycares and other similar businesses. Our affiliate rescues would be happy to work with small or large stores who would like to offer giving containers where the public is encouraged to donate. Not only pet related businesses like veterinary clinics and boarding facilities have collected donations but even restaurants, boy scouts, and many retailers have found ways to help raise funds. Be creative, and let us know your ideas!
Corporate or Foundation Monetary Gifts - Some companies choose to donate a portion of their profits to specific types of causes they support, or their associated corporate foundations allow employees to donate to specific causes. If your organization supports animal causes, please consider supporting the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation as part of your company or foundation gifting.
Services
Table Banner Printing - 2'x6' banners custom printed with our state affiliate logos to use at pet shows, at booths in retail pet stores, and many other local events and fairs.
Advertising - Newspaper, magazine, radio or television advertising helps us get more Italian Greyhounds in to new forever homes. Too many people just do not realize either a local or national Italian Greyhound Rescue exists, so they don't even consider it before purchasing a dog elsewhere.
