Recycling Programs
These programs exist for both individuals as well as small and large businesses to help provide support to the IGRF foster dogs, while being environmentally kind by recycling things which would otherwise end up in the landfill. Every type of business can participate and it is easy and free! Past collections have been done not only by individuals, but by corporations with hundreds of employees in one site, small family owned shoe stores, and even auctioneers who collect unwanted e-waste for proper recycling... all while helping benefit the Italian Greyhounds! Small Electronics
Printer Cartridges - Whether your printer is an ink-jet or laser, there is a program for recycling empty cartridges so they can be refilled or recycled. Free collection boxes are provided for larger donations.
Cell Phones - Working or broken, flip-phones, conventional or smart phones are all worth a dollar or two to rescue. Why put them in a drawer never to see the light of day again? Sell them to benefit rescue at Gizmogo.
Tablets/iPads - Tablets of all sizes can be donated to rescue. We may be able to use them to help show off our adoptable pets at rescue booths around the community, and if not then they will be sent for recycling. Music Devices/iPods - Send in your iPod or similar music devices which are worth a few dollars each usually and can provide a meal to an Italian Greyhound in a foster home. Download a free shipping label, then include for credit to the "Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation".
Laptops - Laptops are worth at least $5 each if we recycle them, but often they can be used at rescue booths to show off our adoptable dogs who aren't on-site at that moment. And, some of our volunteers need just something basic to help put our adoptable pet pictures online.
Non-Electronics Recycling
Old Shoes - Yes! Old shoes are worth money and paid out by the pound. They are sorted, cleaned up and minor fixes made before they are shipped to impoverished countries where they are needed.

Corporate Recycling Programs
Paper Recycling - Free dumpsters are provided to recycle paper at your business, so why let it all go to waste? Why not earn our group extra money at the same time?
Toner Cartridges - If you are the typical business there is a stack of used toner or ink cartridges hiding in a corner or storage room. Why not get a free collection box to keep them in, and get free shipping when the box is full?
Phones/PDA/Tablets - Clear up some space by collecting employee-use phones and tablets in a collection box, and even allow employees or customers to bring their unwanted personal devices too. Collection boxes are attractive, free and shipping costs nothing also. Join the e-cycle movement today!
Laptops - Working or non-working, or even after the hard-drive has been removed. We want to help recycle your old laptops, and we may even repurpose them if they are still in usable condition. Don't let them sit and collect dust, and risk the batteries exploding or combusting.
Community e-Cycle Drives - Want to really get involved in your community and show them your business cares for the environment, while helping the Italian Greyhounds? Set up a community e-cycling day where they can bring in ANY electronic devices for recycling.
