Successful Relinquishment Stories
We literally accept and place hundreds of Italian Greyhounds in new homes each and every year. They come from all type of situations where people do not want to surrender their Italian Greyhound(s), but the owners feel it is in the dogs' best interest overall. However, these people sometimes want to express their appreciation for the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation, and how we have helped them out of tough situations. Some of our surrendering families have been gracious enough to share their stories on the Great Non-Profits website.
Although we are not able to share the stories of all dogs, we hope that some of the selected available stories will develop confidence from families who are considering to re-home their Italian Greyhound(s) through our organization. And, if you have surrendered an Italian Greyhound to our organization, we encourage you to share your story with others who may benefit from knowing their dogs will be well-cared for during their stay until a new permanent home is found.
